The power of multi-channel follow-up.
Every Friday, without cease, I get a text message from Papa John’s at around 4pm advertising weekly specials. I guess they figure everyone’s thinking TGIF, no one wants to cook, and they are stepping right between the conversation we’re having in our mind. Right when my wife says, “Babes, let’s order out,” ding-ding, there’s the text message.

At Hearandplay.com, our Monday Music Minute mobile program seeks to accomplish this by sending tips every Monday morning to prospects followed by little non-threatening promotions every other week. When you combine e-mail (which Papa John’s also leverages pretty well), sms text message (95% open rates), direct mail, voice broadcasting, and other channels, how can you not see conversion increase?
